Bei den derzeitigen R\u00fcckbauarbeiten eines F\u00f6rderbands vom Hafen zu den alten Lagerhallen hatten sich vermutlich alte Futtermittelreste in Teilen des Schrotthaufens entz\u00fcndet. Auf der gegen\u00fcberliegenden Stra\u00dfenseite direkt am Ufer hatte au\u00dferdem ein St\u00fcck B\u00f6schung rund um einen bodennah entfernten Tr\u00e4ger zu schwelen begonnen. Dreizehn Einsatzkr\u00e4fte unter der Einsatzleitung von Ortsbrandmeister Wilfried G\u00fctz l\u00f6schten die B\u00f6schung und sp\u00fclten die Futterreste aus den zum Haufen gestapelten F\u00f6rderbandteilen um eine Ausbreitung zu vermeiden.
